Has the connection between The Book of the Law and tantra (or "tantric elements") been studied in any other of Grant's work? Or, has it been studied in any other occult work? If so, in what ways? I'm referring to this quotation that sparked this question:
"The revival of tantric elements in The Book of the Law may be evidence of a positive move on the part of Aiwaz to forge a link between Western and Oriental systems of magick."

Has the connection between The Book of the Law and tantra (or "tantric elements") been studied in any other of Grant's work? Or, has it been studied in any other occult work? If so, in what ways? I'm referring to this quotation that sparked this question: "The revival of tantric elements in The Book of the Law may be evidence of a positive move on the part of Aiwaz to forge a link between Western and Oriental systems of magick." Quite a few people, myself included, continue to explore these avenues. I would argue that Tantra infuses the entirety of the Typhonian trilogies, and also finds its way throughout the novellas and poetry. Pick up any of the trilogies and you will find these hints, as well as more direct references — a real treasure trove. Besides Kenneth Grant, there is not a lot of published material that I can recommend which explores the relationship between The Book of the Law and Tantra, as I tend to disagree with much that I have come across. To sound my own trumpet however, I have a previous book that was highly influenced by these elements — The Magical Union of East & West. It is out of print, but I have some copies available. Even in that book, I left most of the overt tantrik practice out, instead preferring a more mystical on-ramp that can lead one to some hopefully fruitful experiments and first hand explorations. I do make the argument that the Book of the Law is a western Tantra. I am currently working on a new title that will be focused much more deeply on western tantra.

Thanks for that. It has not been kept up, but yes there are some timeless gems there I think!

You might also find interest in Saw Webster's work, Tantric Thelema - the Mahayoga Invocation of Ra Hoor Khuit. It's a detailed method and leads one into a form of Union with RHK as the tutelary deity. He studied for his PhD in the UK with Ronald Hutton (Triumph of the Moon, etc of course) and I was fortunate enough to meet Sam in San Fran prior to the pandemic. His group the Open Source Order held rituals in the Bay Area Thelemic Temple; a blend of Pagan Golden Dawn, Thelema and Buddhism. The connection back to Kenneth would be through Nema
