Just looking on ebay rare Bertiaux items for sale.. Seller has other rares too.. I've always wondered why the M7R lessons have never been released in book form. I see I can pick up a set of the four-year course for a mere $2,500! Too rich for my blood, I'm afraid, though there is a copy of The Litany of Dagon from the E∴O∴D∴ for only $19, which seems very reasonable. Is the E∴O∴D∴ still active, I wonder?

The Litany of Dagon eh? Now that sounds familiar.
The E.'.O.'.D.'. brought together a lot of interesting people in the later 1980s and 1990s, some of whom are still very active in pursuit of their magickal paths, and others who may probably not be.
Frater Obed Marsh made a concerted effort some years ago now, to revivify the Order along rather formal Masonic lines, but this did not appear to resonate very well with those individuals with whom he was still in contact. I believe that he still keeps the eternal flame of Necronomicon Gnosis burning, but our sporadic communication has been silent awhile now.

Seemed very promising at the time, but contact dried up. I still consider myself active in that current, and when the stars are right who knows what may resurface

The monestary complete 4 years is up for 800 That sounds a little better! Do I hear $400? Still, I'd love it if Weiser or Feral House or somebody would put together a paperback. They could just run Bertiaux's original typewritten pages from the mail order course, like what Weiser did with the Big Lucky Hoodoo and other OTOA-LCN lessons. The typed pages, typos and all, actually add to the pleasure of reading the VGN, in my opinion. Straight from Bertiaux's typewriter!

I've always been intrigued by the group, just based on the website, which is still up but doesn't see to see too may updates. Their introductory booklet (a PDF on the site) makes for interesting reading. This is only tangentially related, I guess, but I've recently been reading up on Neptune, and was struck by a passage in Nightside of Eden linking him to Chozzar and Nodens and also, I think, Set/Hadit: the God of the Deep.

The E.'.O.'.D.'. with its many Lodges produced a lot of material in the form of booklets, newsletters and journals, mostly as hard copies back in the day. At one point, in the late 1990s someone produced a very useful bibliography of Order publications. I still have everything I received or was involved in. The cataloguing alone would be quite a task.
Gregory, I am sending you a message regarding this.

As SGM of OTOA-LCN, I had been contacted by an individual who was interested in republishing the M7R papers as high quality volumes. At that time, both Michael Bertiaux and the SGMA of the OTOA-LCN (who is also the copyright holder) said no. Both Michael and Dr. Willis have been opposed to the proliferation of file-sharing online with regards to these documents. Conversely, the exorbitant prices being asked on places such as ebay are ridiculous. Clearly, such sellers have no fealty to the Orders or the author of the lessons. Within OTOA-LCN, we provide the M7R and other supplemental material to students based upon their progress within the system.

Where do you apply to join the OTOA-LCN in the U.K as I am very interested in the M7R? Thank you.

I would like to add to this thread that things have changed with regards to the M7R material being published in book format. Although my above words regarding a previous decision to keep the material from publication in such a format were most certainly true when the issue was raised with me in the past, Michael has now approved of this approach. His publisher will be Roberto Migliussi (who has worked hard to bring the works of Kenneth Grant to Italian Readers as well as publishing Michael Bertiaux's brilliant first volume on Cagliostro). I am sure this will be welcome news to Parsifal and others.

It's undoubtedly early days on this project, but I can't help but ask.

Instead of purchasing online, why not reach out to Maestro Bertiaux himself?
