Picked my copy up a week ago from Watkins books where they had a display in the window featuring it. I’m still working my way through it, but it’s a fantastic compilation of diverse essays, thoroughly recommended for anyone with the slightest interest in the Typhonian tradition. Indeed the whole volume is a good introduction to serious study of Grant’s ouvre. His books can be mystifying and incomprehensible yet utterly fascinating - and I’ve been reading him since the early 90s! These essays certainly managed to provide numerous novel insights and perspectives to me, particularly appreciation due to Michael Staley, Kyle Fite and Vadge Moore for their contributions. Get it folks it’s a joy to read.

Pleasant surprise at work today when a colleague brought a parcel containing the newest Starfire publication to my office. After perusing the chapters/authors, it was difficult to choose where to start, discovering so many chapter headings that appear immediately relevant in my current work. While writing this post I'm glancing towards the AOS portrait of Steffi Grant on the back cover and becoming rather entranced. Great way to start the weekend!

I've got around to this book on my reading list, and it is amazing. The insights by Vadge Moore, Nema, and Michael Staley are my favorite so far, not that I should pick favorites, it is all good and I expect on reading again as is needed with this kind of material other insights will emerge. Thanks you to all who made it available, top shelf next to Grants books.

This is a very good book; provides an excellent introduction to Kenneth Grant - the man and his work - as well as thorough examinations of his output from various perspectives. I would consider this required reading, along with At the Feet of the Guru; especially for anyone new to Kenneth Grant. That it would be of immense interest to those already familiar with Grant is of course a given.
Not going to pick favourites, but special mention is due to Michael Staley for his contribution 'Foundations of the Typhonian Trilogies'. To all those that have been hoping for a biography of Kenneth Grant, Michael's entry pretty much fits the bill, even if it's shorter than the typical book-length 'life and times of...' endeavour.
Hope that after some time passes there will be the possibility for a follow-up; perhaps make it a running series?
If you haven't yet, pick it up!
