I'm sorry to have to say that approximately three-quarters of the Starfire Publishing stock of books was destroyed last month in a catastrophic fire at the warehouse of Safehouse Self-Storage in north London.
Fortunately a small amount of stock was stored in a smaller facility locally. However, not all titles were equally represented. Consequently, the first three titles of the Typhonian Trilogies are presently unavailable, and more titles are expected to follow suit over the next few weeks and months.
The priority is to make these titles of the Typhonian Trilogies available again as resources allow, beginning with The Magical Revival and moving forward in sequence.
We also have some new titles scheduled for publication over the next few months, details of which will appear shortly.

Not-so-Safehouse, then. I am sorry to hear this Michael - surely there is some sort of insurance that can help with the recovery? Starfire shouldn't have to wear it, and I'd expect the storage folks would have to take responsibility?
Wishing Starfire the best in recovering from this tragedy - always sorry to hear of books being destroyed, but especially these ones.
Was it arson? Accident?

Oh this is terrible news. Please let us know how we can help. Well, I don't think we need to be sending Michael food-parcels just yet. Why not treat yourself to a Starfire Book that you don't already have? Looking on the Starfire Publishing website it amazes me that there are still first editions of some of the Nightside Narratives in print, considering that they represent some of the most authentic and original occult fiction of the 20th century.

I believe I have them all. Except a few. One is a Starfire reference, which I will have to report back on, that is not in the catalog. The Oracles of Spare would be a nice addition. But, I was more thinking about ways to carry the Gnosis, and if we can help Michael so much the better. This knowledge must not be lost to fire or other calamity. At the same time, it should not be digitized and whored about on the internet.

I haven't been on the site too much lately, and logged just yesterday to this news of the fire. I'm terribly sorry that this happened, Michael. Wishing you and Starfire a smooth and speedy rebound from this setback. Books about the transplutonic starfire, consumed by fire. Hmm . . . In all seriousness, though, hoping this situation resolves with few headaches. And yes, book purchases are in order to get Starfire back on Her feet!

Sorry to hear that Michael, and all others connected to the destroyed works. It is not the first time that books which venture beyond the paradigm upholding the status quo have been destroyed. The paradox is that facing and working with the shadow is a positive evolutionary move, but it raises fear in the minds and hearts of some. Atu VIII, Cheth expresses this idea of containment; the fence which is a boundary in consciousness. Ultimately, the Self is a total Self, not partitioned; we partition the Self in order to stress the components and induce the lower to the higher, but the compartments are not real in themselves. On the macrocosmic level, it is individual consciousness itself which is the illusion, cf all Kenneth's references to Advaita. Thus these attempts to suppress and hold back the tide of transforming awareness are ultimately doomed to fail. The early Christians were the jihadists of today. Resisting change is futile....if only I could learn that one myself. More power to your pen, my friend

As a totally tangential note, I found out last year that the Inquisition first started burning books it had confiscated not because it thought they were dangerous or evil, but simply because there were so damned many of them they were running out of space to store them all!
On another aside, all those spirit names, up in smoke... yikes! Lookout London, world...
