I'm sorry to have to say that Convolvulus and other poems is now out of print. Published in 2005 with a print run of 1000 copies, it included Grant's two previous collections Black to Black and other poems (Carfax, 1963) and The Gull's Beak and other poems (Toucan Press, 1970) as well as a previously unpublished collection Convolvulus: Poems of Love and the Other Darkness.
The book, with drawings by Spare liberally interspersed with the poems, was originally designed by Steffi Grant for printing in green and black on uncoated paper. In the course of a protracted proofing stage with our first choice of printers it proved impossible to reproduce to a satisfactory standard, and rather than throw in the towel and switch to a coated paper we switched to another printer. This was ultimately successful. Nevertheless, by the time the book was published it was more or less a year since it had first gone to print. So it was a relief when it did finally appear, and I have fond memories of the publication launch at a pub with the gorgeous name Angel in the Fields in the Baker Street area of London.
The book will be reprinted, but not for a while I'm afraid.

Lovely edition that I was glad to pick up when it came out! The pub sounds nice as well, will have to visit it next time I'm out!
