The print production files for Beyond the Mauve Zone took a little longer to finalise that at first thought, but I'm pleased to say that they were finally passed to the printers yesterday (29th February), and printers proofing is underway. So far a full set of digital proofs have been received, and I'm awaiting the printed proofs. I cannot give a tentative publication date until the stage of printers proofs has been passed, since only then will printing actually start. I will keep all informed as to progress. In the meantime, details of both the standard and the deluxe editions, and how to order ahead of publication, can be found on the Starfire Publishing website, and a link to the appropriate page is: www.starfirepublishing.co.uk/beyond_the_mauve_zone.htm Best wishes, Michael Staley, Starfire Publishing Ltd. www.starfirepublishing.co.uk/Tuesday 1st March 2016

Excellent news! I still have the original print of this, but as with all the Starfire editions looking forward to the enhanced publication. I remember feeling thrilled when this and the Ninth Arch originally came out, as I had sent quite a lot of research material to Kenneth Grant and had hoped he had found it of some interest/use to work with in the trilogies. Of course, nothing came of it! But a fond memory nonetheless

I was up at the crack of dawn this morning (OK, 6.45 am, but you get my drift, as one continental ice-sheet said to another) to visit my typesetter on the other side of London in order to resolve some issues thrown up by the printers proofs. Revised files will go to the printers on Monday and, all being well, the book will start printing towards the end of the coming week.

That is good news indeed! This is the one of the nine that I have yet to read. I have been at times both unable and unwilling to acquire it under current conditions. I look forward to it more than words can convey.
I don't know if its been said before, but I believe that as The Equinox volumes have been referred to as the encyclopedia of initiation of the previous century, these books of The Typhonian Trilogies surely must be the same for this century that we are currently moving into.
Realizing that it is fully subjective and a personal bias, I would like to share the incomplete picture I made, a painting inspired by the work of Mr. Grant. link

Following receipt of further proofs this morning, I have now given the printers the go-ahead to proceed with print production. The standard edition will be delivered to Starfire Towers during the second half of March. I won't be more specific with dates until later on in the production process, since it is not exactly unknown for printing schedules to drift in the course of production..
Thank you, obscurus, for your appreciative remarks. Beyond the Mauve Zone is a truly excellent book - very inspiring. Until starting work on the republication, I hadn't read the book since its first publication in 1999. It means much more to me now than it did back then, so for me it was almost like reading a new book.
Thank you also, obscurus, for letting us see via your user icon the painting you refer to.
Best wishes,
Michael.

Michael,
All thanks are due you for the work you've done.
Beyond The Mauve Zone and Hecates Fountain had eluded me for years but I've always held to the believe that all comes in its own time. Hecates Fountain proved to be far more than I expected so I greatly look forward to Beyond The Mauve Zone. Perhaps after it The Ninth Arch will more completely flower for me?
I was unable to post an image of the painted sketch directly into the thread and could only manage the link. I believe that most all art is meaningless except to its creator so all is probably as it should be.
Thank you again & best wishes in return.

The Mauve Zone was the book which first attracted me to Kenneth's work. I later found that the same thread of subtle mystery spreads through all his work, constantly hinting of the beyond. There is is much to savour in it, and it has been so hard to obtain for so long, that this will probably be a significant stage in that continual unveiling.

I do agree, PW PV 113. It is a fantastic book, and its republication is a significant milestone.
