Hi All, I'm Sarah-Jayne, 31 and currently residing in West London. I threw myself into Kenneth Grant's work beginning with 'Outside the Circles of Time' and have been devouring everything I can since. I am currently continuing an exploration of the Lovecraftian mythos links to the Typhonian Trilogies. In between periods of writing and ritual work, I am spending time visiting ancient sites which resonate strongly with the arcane aspects of Lovecraft’s and Grant’s visions; and following threads as they arise. I'm here to learn, share ideas and contribute if and when I can. Looking forward to conversing with you all in due course Kind regards, Sarah-Jayne

Outside the Circles of Time is quite a mind bender of a start to Grant and I'm currently rereading it now! Welcome to the forums!!

Welcome to the forums, Sarah-Jane. Outside the Circles of Time is one of my favourite volumes of the Typhonian Trilogies. Not that I felt that way on its first publication in 1980, when I found it largely impenetrable after the opening chapters. Towards the end of the 1980s I went back to it, and found it one of most enthralling books I had read, though still not an easy read.

Thank you Michael and movebywillalone, it's a pleasure to be here (even if just lurking currently). However I'm not going to lie, I couldn't glean anything from it either until I reread it sometime later. I think "largely impenetrable" is putting it rather lightly I love how Grant's words seem to shift with subsequent rereads, as if picking up a brand new book. There is always something you haven't noticed before!

Hi Sarah-Jayne,
Yes, this is true - something you had not noticed before, or given the amount of information, something that you had forgotten - in the case of some of us !
Regards - Stephen.
