I'm presently proof-reading the typesetting for Hecate's Fountain. The intention is for the book to go to the printers sometime in July for publication in late August or early September.
Upon publication, the first two trilogies will be back in print, and this auspicious occasion will be marked with a launch in September. The launch will be preceded by a day of talks and presentations, details of which will be announced soon.
The third and final trilogy will be republished throughout 2015.

The republication of Hecate's Fountain is nearing completion, and will be ready to go to the printers at the end of August or in early September, for publication in October. There are three books at similar stages of production - Hecate's Fountain, a republication of Donald Tyson's Liber Lilith, and The Play Goes On by Jean Williams, Zachary Cox and friends, a selection of rituals used in the Rainbow Bridge group which they developed with colleagues several decades ago - and there has been some slippage of timetables.
The publication of Hecate's Fountain was to have taken place in September, and was to be have been launched with a day of talks on various aspects of Kenneth Grant's work, culminating in a more traditional launch (the usual stuff - wine, cake, animated conversation, several launch speeches etc., with scintillant music playing in the background). This will go ahead, but rearranged for October. I'll announce more details as the print production for the book proceeds and a delivery date from the printers filters through into the realms of manifestation.

Great news, been waiting many years for this, 'tis the only one not in my collection. Saw a copy in Glastonbury
about 10 years ago but it was battered to oblivion (almost) and the asking price was well out of my price range.
A record of the operations of Nu Isis lodge. Blimey, oh riley, there might be a new edition of Starfire soon !!
We are divided for Love's sake, for the chance of union.

It's not a record of the operations of New Isis Lodge, John. Hecate's Fountain was to have been an account of the rituals of New Isis Lodge, but when Kenneth Grant wrote it in the late 1970s it simply went in a different direction. However, anecdotes of incidents during New Isis Lodge workings do appear in most of the chapters.
The book falls into three parts. The first, 'Magick of the Mauve Zone', is where Grant first introduces the concept of the Mauve Zone. The second, 'AL in the light of the Necronomicon Gnosis', is an exposition of some of the principles of The Book of the Law seen through the veil of the Lovecraftian Mythos. The third, 'The Outer Shadow', considers some of Bertiaux's material.
Hecate's Fountain is a rich, scintillating work - beautiful.

Well, still looking forward to it and probably will be looking between the lines, as am interested in the actual working(s). I know KG valued Bertiaux's Voodon, but I could never reconcile it with Thelema, it always seemed on the periphery to me. Now, I can easily see AOS and the connection, even though he went his own way. Anything on Fra. Archad up and coming ? And Starfire, Mick ? Love as always, through all these years. john.

Yes, John, there are other publications coming up over the next few months which I'll discuss elsewhere, but I'd rather keep the focus of this thread on Hecate's Fountain.
At present I'm in the throes of revising the index with the pagination of the fresh typesetting. This is a long job which for various reasons I prefer to do via a myriad manual searches across the PDF. Since there are many other calls on my time, the book is liable to be ready for the printers in early October, when ordering ahead of publication will open. Publication will be in November.
As for the Bertiaux material in the book, Grant had a great many interests outside the bounds of what is formally regarded as Thelema, such as Buddhism, Surrealism, Massey, Blavatsky, 'supernatural' fiction by Lovecraft, Rohmer, Machen and others, and a great deal more. All these facets were assimilated into the development of his work. I use the term "formally" because it is my belief that Thelema is broader and deeper than often considered, and its affinities are wide. So in the third part of Hecate's Fountain, for instance, what is being considered there is not so much Bertiaux's work itself, but rather the affinities that Grant found with his own developing vision.
Before preparing Hecate's Fountain for republication, it's true to say that it was my least favourite volume of the Trilogies. However, having plunged into it over the past few months, I find it an exciting, glittering and inspiring work.

I was foolishly trying to hold out on getting any of the new typhonian editions until they were all complete; however, I could no longer maintain the level of seeming non-attachment required Just placed an order with JD Holmes to get all the available titles, as well as pre-order for Hecate's Fountain. Thank you Michael for your continued efforts in producing this important work and making it available.

If you'd waited for completion, Gregory, you'd have needed to wait until Autumn next year, when The Ninth Arch is due for republication. By then Outside the Circles of Time will have gone out of print, thus necessitating a reprint in late 2015 or early 2016.
Hecate's Fountain is still a few days shy of going to the printers. Yesterday I finally finished revising the Index, an item of work which had gone on for several weeks. Now checking the typesetting, making some final changes.
There are two new plates in this enhanced edition. The Skoob edition of Hecate lacked a frontispiece, and there will be one for this edition, being one of a series of pen and ink sketches of Kenneth Grant by Steffi from the late nineteen forties. The second addition is a sidereal portrait of Steffi Grant by Spare.
Work is already under way on Outer Gateways, which is scheduled for publication in Spring 2015.

Just an update on the republication of Hecate's Fountain. Print production is underway, and although the printers have scheduled delivery for December 22nd, I consider that very optimistic. Publication will, therefore, be in early January.

No, I'm afraid not. It's expected back from the printers in a week to ten days from now. The plates section needed rerunning due to an error on my part, and this rerunning could not take place until after the Christmas / New Year break. Once there's a concrete delivery date, I'll let everybody know.
Not that I'm sitting back drumming my fingers. The preparation of Outer Gateways continues apace.

I spoke to the printers this afternoon, and have an update on progress. The plates section has been rerun, and this afternoon I received a sample, on the basis of which binding can now proceed. Delivery to Starfire Publishing will now be by Friday 23rd January, and copies will be packaged and despatched to meet all outstanding orders as soon as possible.
Customers will be emailed as the books are despatched. In the meantime, my apologies for this delay.

The standard edition was delivered earlier today, and I've spent a pleasant couple of hours breakking pallets and moving the books into store (i.e., any part of our flat not currently stuffed to overflowing with boxes of book). The printers, Antony Rowe, have as usual delivered a good quality book. All pre-publication orders will be packaged and despatched by the end of next week.
Our distributors in Canada and the U.S.A., JD Holmes, will receive a consignment of copies around the middle of February.
