Hello all, I hail from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. My interest and study in the occult began a few years ago when introduced to Chaos Magic and Lovecraftian/Necronomicon traditions while participating in a sort of book club for the author Robert Anton Wilson. Since then my studies have expanded to include Kundalini Yoga, and a lot of ''nightside'' texts, as well as the works of Austin Osman Spare, and various voodoo/folk magics.
I have also studied eastern martial arts for some years, and make a fair amount of graphic art, primarily pen and ink, but some painting and sculpture as well. I was excited to come across this forum, as I have been going through the reprinted Kenneth Grant works, a lot of it for the first time.

Welcome to Typhonian Mysteries nephrenka. Not the most active or speedy forum on internet and definitely not for short attention spans but this place tends to attract a much higher quality discussion.
How far are you in to Grant's works? and what is your impression so far?

Thanks for the welcome. I was first introduced to Grant's work around the time I started seriously studying the occult (say eight years ago maybe?), when my sort of mentor at the time loaned me copies of Nightside of Eden, Outside the circles of Time, and Snakewand. Being new to occult theories it was pretty confusing, but what sunk in was profound.
Other than that I Recently discovered that his works were being reprinted by starfire, his stuff was always pretty pricey before that so I had not acquired any for long-term study. I was reminded of him while reading the comic ''Neonomicon'', and ordered the first trilogy about a month ago now.
Still currently on the Magical Revival, about halfway through. I really enjoy his writing style and the sheer density of the work. It has been a little bit of a slow read since occasionally a paragraph or two will send my brain in a multitude of directions, and I will even find myself getting ideas on other books I have been reading recently. Which would include Lurker at the Threshold, Nema's ''Maat Magic'', and Secrets of Western Tantra by Christopher Hyatt.
