Greetings Everyone!
First and foremost I would like to thank Mr. Staley for the creation of this forum! Hats off to you Sir... Second, I am a Sorcerer and Musician/Artist that has been influenced by the late Mr. Grant. I began reading his tomes in the mid 90's, and they were very confounding at first(and usually still are!). It is nice to be here and hope to read and have many interesting discussions to further our ventures into the Mauve...

Welcome to the forums, Sloejinn. The forum was created not just by me, but by Paolo also.
Kenneth Grant's work can be labyrinthine and forbidding at first, but becomes more comprehensible as it is digested. The key to it in my view is advaita. From an early ahe He was always interested in Indian mysticism - he refers to it somewhere (in Remembering Aleister Crowley, I think) as his "first love" - and immersed himsself in advaita in the late 1940s and early 1950s. This, together with his strong interest (again, from an early age) in surrealism, underlies the diverse and dreamlike welter of images which saturates particularly his later work.
Yes, we look forward to your joining the discussions.
