Hello everyone. My name is Marc and I have been a part of the Kenneth Grant facebook group for a while and really have enjoyed the posts. I have only just begun reading the work of Grant in late 2010 but have done much in that time to try and understand as much as possible. I am pretty sure I will be working with it all for quite some time. Like many others, or so it seems from what I've read so far, I too was introduced to the work of Grant by coming across Aleister Crowley & the Hidden God and as I was reading it I realized what ever this man is getting at - its amazing. It really helped my understanding of Crowley and Thelema as well. Anyway, I think this forum/board will do much in the way of what it is intended and many will find the help they need ' down when'. I can't express how much sites like LASHTAL and others have helped me and I'm sure this site will be just as amazing if not moreso. Thank you all.

Welcome to the forums, Marc. Yes, many people approach Grant's work through those early volumes such as The Magical Revival or Aleister Crowley and the Hidden God, as indeed did I. However, a surprising number of people I have come across first read Outside the Circles of Time, a work which was a closed book to me for many years.
I think, though, that we need to struggle to understand someone's work. The first book by Crowley that I read was Magick in Theory and Practice in the late 1960s, which I found very difficult to understand at first, and it took many subsequent readings to unlock.
Anyway, I look forward to your participation in the discussions here.
