Thanks to the Decad of Intelligence by Fulgur, I've developed a growing fascination with Ithell Colquhoun and her work. I know that her circulated biography mentions participation in several occult groups including the OTO. While reading Servant of the Star and Snake, Michael Staley quotes a letter from Grant to Colquhoun about a Spare publication.
Curious if anyone is aware of the extent of their association, especially considering Steffi Grant was also an artist. Was Colquhoun in Grant's OTO?

Apparently Routledge published an academic book called Surrealism, Occultism and Politics: In Search of the Marvellous that released some letters between the two as well. Looks like from 1953-1960.
If Michael is still working on Selected Letters volumes, I wonder if any from Colquhoun will be included.

I could be thinking of someone else here but I believe she was a member of New Isis Lodge... so I guess yeah, she was a member of Grant's OTO.

Up to page 145 in Servants and Bogdan confirms it at the beginning of his Steffi Grant essay. Seems Starfire journal published Grant’s written obituary of her which also confirmed it—either New Isis or pre-New Isis.
