I was diagnosed with the likes of the title... That was a mistake as I later figured out... I had crossed over into the mental state described by many such writings of a Typhonian current. The idea is the realisation that an intelligence is at work behind the scenes. A cosmic web that whispers in the ear or the late night radio broadcast that speaks to you through a telepathic link..All communications been sign posts too a greater reality whereby the loop has run its course.... When I read Kenneth Grant I realised he had a schizophrenic brain... He maintained control whereby these same forces overwhelm most...Projections of the infinite mind living out some sort of alternate reality... Real as the apparent reality we have our own discourse in....Distant past and future realities collide in a Kaleidoscope of sub realms that have infinite possibilities...You got to love this work....

I'm not aware that Kenneth Grant was ever diagnosed with schizophrenia. From which of his works did you discover this information? What is the link between "maintaining control" and schizophrenia? As a clinician, I'm very curious about any mental health issues Mr. Grant might have experienced, but schizophrenia has nothing to do with "control" or lack of control.

Whether his subjective realisation might be correct or not, and whether Mr Grant may have actually experienced any mental health issues is, of course, another matter completely (but I am unaware of the fact personally. Who knows? Possibly his wife Steffi Grant might better than anyone else - if she ever reads this website). .

Raj Don Yasser... Kenneth Grant never had any such disease as far as I know. What I was suggesting was that certain concepts are so abstract yet completely insane. The insane I refer to here is the subjective experience of complexity. As you will be aware with some schizophrenics is that they are wrestling with the subconcious mind and have no way of closing the gate behind them. So their reality is the subconcious experience whereby the conscious experience of 'having control' is suspended. What I was suggesting was that Kenneth Grants work delves so completely into areas of the mind that are really unaccessible to most practitioners.. Schizophrenics on the other hand have direct experiences of the kind im referring too.. In relation to the topic I can also suggest that authors like Lovecraft and certain works within this Typhonian current are of a similar nature.. Its very difficult to relay subconcious realities but Kenneth Grant is one Author that has managed to define certain abstractions that Ive very seldom come across in my reading...

After re-reading the op, I think you're correct, Gaz. If that's the case, then the original post is even more confusing: without having confirmed from a reliable source that he was diagnosed such, one would necessarily have met Mr. Grant for a clinical interview to determine if he met the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia (which has been revised repeatedly over the years, most recently in the DSM-V, which radically changed quite a few diagnostic criteria including PTSD, Autism, Axis II disorders, etc). Unfortunately, lot's of folks throw around diagnostic labels without the minimal understanding as to the diagnostic criteria related to the given diagnosis. The fact is: one can not diagnose another without FIRST having conducted clinical interviews, diagnostic assessments, and having the required degree and license contingent upon the country/state they reside. Another point of fact: there is no such term as "schizophrenic brain" in the DSM. Perhaps the OP is referring to issues related to Mr. Grants dopamine receptor sites, which would likely result in symptoms of schizophrenia. The most commonly prescribed anti-parkinsonian medications have the possible side effect of auditory, visual, and tactile hallucinations since these medications impact dopamine receptor sites. Bryan: please elaborate, I'm very interested in hearing more!

Like other accounts of unclassifiable phases of earths history, the cthulhu cult opitimises the subconcious and forces outside terrestrial awareness. It may be said in passing that the true creativity can occur only when these forces are invoked to flood with their light the magical network of the mind. K. Grant, Outer Gateways.

Raj Don Yasser... You say you are a clinician. After I responed to your thread, you continued to speak about me in the third person. After your thread in which you elaborated on your theory you request further comment from me. Unfortunataly Im not a pet for some clinician. The problem with the industry you are part of is the need to make diagnostics that keep you guys in the driving seat. The Cthulhu mythos will rise and when it does the reptilians will fall... How is that for a schizophrenic analogy....

I'm asking about Kenneth Grant's "schizophrenic brain". It wasn't my intention to offend you, but rather to seek elaboration. What leads you to assume that your service provider diagnosed you in error? I'm genuinely interested.

Kenneths brain is obviously not schizophrenic. I used that as a necessary detail to elaborate on the complexity of his thought processes, with regards to his ideas and content. I had many schizophrenic episodes that have such complexity that no language can ascertain the depths of feeling and internal forces at play. Schizophrenia as a disease is incurable yet I closed the gate using psychotherapy techniques...Without meds for over 10 years and completaly normal considering my peers insights.. Im obviously insane but functional. The very idea that I practice magick and tap into unknown vista's of the mind would make any psych therapist jump for joy at a diagnosis..That part of myself is a secret just like any good masonic ritual. With that said, no offence taken. It is my assumption that Kenneth Grant was an OBE traveller... I dont see any other way how he made in roads into the spiders web of the mind...
